Does bigger hands mean more punching power?

    yeah, i know. even after i posted and reread it, i was sure most people wouldnt be able to decipher what i was trying to say. i did try and clear it up a bit in subsequent posts.

    It's all about the technique and execution. If you dont sit on a punch and just pitty-patter arm punching ******, then your big hands are useless.

    One of my buddies trained at the same gym as McCall in Martinsville, VA. He said McCall's hands were the size of his head, so I would say it definitely helps.

    Felix Sturm's hands are massive but he rarely wins by KO!

    but if felix sturm had smaller hands, he would punch with just a little less power. bigger hands than he has now arent going to make him punch harder than someone else, they will only help him punch harder than he does with the hands he has now.

    Nope...

    If you punch with your arms you have no power...no matter how big your hands are lol...

    All about how you use your overall bodyweight, legs and rotation of hips.
