Jokes apart, the HW champion like Sultan will be disastrous for boxing - he doesn't want to KO foes! :tired

 

The Heavyweight division needs more star quality, Wlad is best of a bad bunch. The Heavyweight division lacks personality, talent, and too many postponements. Guys like Chagaev, Peter, and even Povetkin, under performed in there last fights IMO. I feel Wlad is a good champ, but without good competition he will never get the props he deserves.

 

It would be best for boxing if Klitschko wins the unification match.

 

Wlad trains hard and you can see it, he looks like a heavyweight Champion and he is one and that´s very good for boxing.

I do not believe that Sultan will beat Wlad.

 

The important thing, as jisi points out, is that Wladimir looks far more like a boxing champion than the other three current beltholders.

He's very tall, very muscular and athletic and (if a little Alan Partridge!) more photogenic than Maskaev, Ibragimov or Chagaev. He looks the part a lot more than them. Maskaev and Ibragimov in particular look like they should be pushing brooms around a school hallway.

So if there is going to be one champion to 'rally round', visually Wladimir fits the bill very well.

From purely a technical point of view, it would be very interesting if Sultan was able to find and use the right tools to defeat Wladimir, to be the first one to do so in 4 years.

But from a image point of view, I would say that a Wlad win would be for the best.
