no all im saying is Tyson at 13 had the body of fully grown man, he was bigger than a lot of men.

Broadness and thickness and muscle definition anyway

I've seen a couple of pics of Tyson at age 13 and I would dispute that highly. Couldn't find any of them right now, but here's a pic of him at age 14. He doesn't look all that huge to me... and at 13 he would obviously be even smaller.

Guys as big as Briggs have to constantly fight against their own bodies to maintain their size. Its not natural for the body to carry so much extra muscle mass, if he didn't lift weights (and probably take a lot of roids) but followed more conventional boxing training instead he would return to a more proportional build- like Vitali or Lewis

He was alot lighter ten years than he is now.He started lifting a lot of weights or his body thickened as he got older,my guess is both

I think a combination of lifting weights a lot, ageing, and possible use of enhancers accounts for his insane size. Factor into that I think he's naturally a genuinely massive guy.

    Yes.

He must lift like a madman. HEAVY lifting, and alot of PEDs, too.

    Right.

Noone is *naturally* that developed. Its nuts to even say that. Noone is born with a genetic makeup that just causes them to be that big.

For anyone of any genetic makeup, it takes work in the gym to build mass that size, and alot of work. And in the case of someone as big as Briggs, it takes PEDs too.

    I'm sure he does. Positive.

At 24 hour fitness Hassim Rahman lifts like a fiend. He's a very, very strong guy, even stronger than he looks. He is leg pressing like a thousand pounds, benching like 450 for reps. And he's big. I'd imagine Briggs lifts too - of course he's naturally big to begin with and has a tendency to keep muscle, but you just don't see that level of size/muscularity/definition without some kind of serious resistance program. So I've never seen Briggs lift but a lot of heavyweights do lift, especially since they don't have to worry too much about an upper weight limit and cutting.

Shouldnt the question be WHY does briggs continue to lift weights the way he does..

He knows as well as we do the effect the extra weight has on him, he's carrying at least 20lb more than he should be.

He is going to be way slower than he should be and he WILL gas. But Briggs already fu*king knows this, how can he NOT know this??? thats what gets me.

This IS speculation on my part, and I am by no means an expert on steroids, but is it possible Briggs has reached the point with PED'S that he now MUST continue to take them, or suffer withdrawal / rebound effects, thus making weight loss virtually impossible??

He seems to have modelled his whole style on winning by KO at the expense of winning rounds. I think he probably has the right approach to fight Vitali. There's no way he's going to beat him on points, so he's making sure he hits as hard as he possibly can in the hope he has another Liakhovich moment. At least he has a plan

As a general rule, you probably won't see any weightlifting videos during training because boxers don't lift weights during the last phase of their training, when they look the best. They spar, run, and do cardio, not weight lifting. For example, I know that Wlad does not lift weighs during the last month of his training camp, for obvious reasons. You can't spar after you've torn up your muscles in a workout.

He does not look BIG, but you can tell he's solid, compact, strong, powerful, etc.

Teddy Atlas said Mike weighed about 180-190lbs solid at 12 years old! That's not your average 12 year old is it? I mean, let's be fair! Lol

Tyson at 12 was 5 - 9 and weighted 180 lbs. Take a look at Teddy Atlas's book.
