He keeps talking about this, I mean he practically mentions it every time he talks about his career and achievements.

Why make such a big deal out of it, I mean he's not the first ever to have something going against him in the ring.
Other boxers have overcome accidents, tragedy, medical conditions, but I can't remember anyone bragging about it like Briggs.

He seems like a cool guy, but seeing him talking about his asthma so much makes me think he really don't suffer from it that much.
I think Vitali has a point here.

I played football with a guy who had asthma and it was really bad, If Briggs really has asthma he must have some mild form, thoughts?..

Haven't been able to find any proof... It's like Mayweather sr. saying Pac is on roids...

Also if he has some symptoms of asthma is it gonna strenghten his legacy that much? I don't think so

bad enough to have a pescription for steroids, stimulants and other measures for optimal bronchodilation, enhanced diapghragmatic muscle function and reduced inflammatory and histaminic responses

I was wondering about this too. In some sports it is an excuse to pass drug tests. It is a common practice. I am not saying that Briggs is faking it. I just want to know if it is a documented illness in his case.
