based off Brooks performance against GGG I say that Brook beats Geale in UD. So Brook is a very good welter, while Geale was an above average 160
Geales is a friggin glass jawed bum Brooks stops him easily, as soon as Geales gets hurt he quits like a dog.
i think brook is getting a bit overated because he got some solid shots in on a very cooperative ggg. he was still destroyed in 5 and never punched hard enough to bother this particular mw. i would wait till he takes another fight against at least a jmw to see if he really can hang for 12 vs heavier chins and punches.
Cotto is just matched better against DG. That's not a knock on GG, its just what it is. Styles make fights. GGG is gifted with brute power, has a couple excellent punches, and has mastered cutting off the ring, all great attributes, but as far as skills go, the edge clearly goes to Cotto.
