Does Bruce Lee have more speed

You're a curious cat today arn't ya...

It's hard to tell. None of his fast punches had any power behind it. And I'm not that familiar with hand speed of anyone at 135. But I sayin in terms of speed he's probably faster than all of them.

And please stop with the Bruce Lee and Cung Le threads. Overhyped and unproven fighters do not deserve that much attention.

 

Cung Le is far from overhyped and after the Shamrock victory he is no longer unproven. He is seriously underrated on this forum especially.

 

Bruce Lee seemed to have an amazing mix of speed and power. He studied the science behind both and would no doubt have been a force to be reckoned with if he ever competed in MMA. It's all conjecture at this point of course.

 

no his speed wasnt so extrodinary.. almost any well trained martial artist ...especially stand up fighter can throw punches and kicks that quick if they put so little power behind it...i can flick out a jab just as quick as bruce lee could...but im talking about a REAL jab no that flicky JKD bull****.. my kicks are slower but i throw full muay thai kicks not those little soccer kicks bruce used to throw...also watch some korean taekwondo tournaments.. now THATS what u call speed... go watch masato in the k-1 max... THATS speed..

they couldnt break my pinky u ****** i train muay thai five days a week and am having a first proffessional fight on the 14th of december and im only 18 years old aswell.. i already spar against nathan corbett twice a week and arslan magomedov (who is also my trainer)... so be careful next time you make claims u know nothing about you idiot

seriously though, quit nut hugging on mr. lee this is an mma forum. if you wanna discuss bruce lee go to a movie forum or find a JKD one. I would have to take a muay thai fighter over lee any day. look at someone like ramon dekkers and tell me how bruce lee beats him in a stand up fight? not happening.

 

How the **** are we supposed to know? The ****er died over 30 freakin' years ago.
