I think Degale has a better chance of winning right now but you never know with Bute's power. It's all about where his mental game is at.

I wish Bute the best of luck in this! I will be there cheering him on!

Yes and I'm picking him to win possibly even by KO.

I recall mentioning before Bute was beaten and when I favoured Bute to be become the top SMW that he seemed weary of getting hit. Bute backs away as soon as he punches as if he is nervous of what is coming back, or maybe that is a defensive move that he does without thinking but I recall noticing it long ago. Due to Degales speed, that move may well work against Bute if he is not committed top following through with his punches.
I think since Froch beat Bute, he just hasnt seemed the same and favour Degale

Degale will win, I'm not sure by stoppage though.

Of course, he has a decent chance. Degale is no Froch.

No I like Degale quite a lot actually, but his stamina is awful and his punching power is somewhat overrated, compare what Froch did to Groves to what Degale did to him, I don't think Degale will be abe to bomb Lucian out of there early and if he's still around the 6th which is when Degale usually gassing, Bute's shots to the body might do a number on Degale and get him out of there late.

Maybe 4 years ago this would be a 50-50 fight and you'd lean towards Bute if it was in Canada. But Bute when he's stepped up hasn't looked impressive. I think Degale outboxes and lands the cleaner shots to win a UD, unless he gets robbed off course.

4 years ago peoples would have said Bute beat another bum, it would have never been considered a 50-50 fight. They would've said same thing if Bute beat Stevenson, back then. Just another tomato-can.

Hoping for Bute KO...can't stand degale. Most impressive win was KO victory over Brandon Gonzales, was holding on and looked poor against Dirrel in second half of fight. Only problem is that Bute might have too many miles on the clock now.

This fight will be in Montreal, which is another reason why I'm leaning towards Bute.:yep

Degale will never be able to take Bute out. Mark my words. But he is heavy favorite for a UD, Bute does tends to get caught by faster fighters and stops his combos step back and reset, instead of keep it going.
