He didn't look weight drained to me. Both men looked like they were in great shape.

There is nothing to stop him making that weight only not looking after himself year round, coming down from 175 is what makes it bad,he does not need to get that high he is 5'7 odd.

Watch for Canelo to not be near as big after he gets a taste of GGG.

People don't understand how small these guys are in real life. It's easy for some fat ass on the net thats over 200 lbs to say "ZOMG he has to get to 150!?" but really these guys are small.

I'm basically the same size as these guys walking around and I'm a little *****

A lot of people in this thread don't know **** about cutting weight.

Canelo has forced as much water out of his body as he could but his muscles still looked full and didn't have that stringly look that comes with glycogen depletion.

People have to remember he is also pasty white and is standing beside dark skinned Floyd. Even with the white skin Alverez looked the better conditioned fighter of the two. Floyd is 36 and this doesn't help but he also looked a little bulky. I wouldn't be surprised if he weighed a couple of pounds lighter in the ring.

Alverez is going to look like a beast when he carbs up.

    Looks don't win fights though.

Looked a little gaunt but to be expected, will rehydrate, get a good feed and be good to go. Honestly thing he broke Floyd's heart a little tonight

He looks fine. Question is, does he feel fine? Even if he rehydrates, he still has to be careful. Rehydrating too much too quickly can make you lethargic. Bad enough Alvarez fights like a robot

He was 153.5 for the Trout fight. We can say the same thing about Mikey Garcia. He was 2 lbs. lighter last weigh-in before Juanma, but struggled to hell and back making weight. He didn't want to be drained so he decided to pay the penalty. It's just two pounds though, right.

And where and when did Alvarez struggle to make weight? In your imagination?

Surprisingly, NO. I did expect him to look emaciated. Come in a little over the weight and do a second try. Be he was good and confident.

Should be a good fight, if he doesn't tire out.

Yes, frankly Canelo had a real slim win over a far inferior stick and move fighter called trout, why would anyone think he can win over a guy who can run 12 rounds and not get tired is beyond me.

Heres my thought:He looked THIN,BUT NOT DRAINED.I looked at pics from the trout weigh in.I think he looks noticeably thinner than that weigh in.But he doesn't look skinny and sick,as some have suggested.
