I'm not going to bother reading the thread because just as you say, people tend to just repeat what they hear and see. It's black or white and no middle ground for most, which is always sad to see.

No doubt he's had some questionable results but he's consistently put on exciting fights and for a while - at least here is the UK - we were waiting for someone to beat him. That's a sign of a great fighter in my book.

There's no use crying over spilled milk and Canelo embodies this; whenever there are questions asked of him, he wants to answer them. I'd really like to see him permanently step up to LHW as he has nothing left to prove at lower weights. I also reckon he should change trainers as he is starting to rely too much on the same old combos.
