Trout is a poor mans Lara. Mattysse is a better boxer, better balance, better timing, better chin and more power.
floyd tames alot of fighters when he starts timing them in r3 or 4 if not sooner.. u see alot of fighters with average outputs per round that are high and after a few rounds with floyd they get gunshy
The more I think about it, I think the Paquaio who fought Cotto brings Floyd to hell and this fight would have been very close. Such a shame this fight didn't happen, Floyd wins easily now as he's still the best in the game and Pac looks like he's on a slippery slope. Pac had the punch output, the speed, the power, the decent chin, the relentless pressure and the hunger to give Floyd the fight of his life. It would have made for an unbelievable fight, Floyd would have had to dig very deep to get the win and I think Pac would have had a very good chance of nicking a decision or who knows he could have landed and KO'd Floyd for all we know, Floyd could have even stopped Pac as he'd have landed clean throughout the fight no doubt. I'm not going into who's to blame blah blah blah but it's a ****ing farce this fight never happened and I'm only venting my frustarton now as it's the first time I've thought about it in a long time as I had to block it out such was my frustration at the fight not happening when it should have.
There's no doubt about that. All these Mattyesse guys are just wowed by his power. Amateur fans. If there's any attribute that Floyd will eat up, its someone who relies mainly on power. Skills beats power. But power mixed in with good timing, control of distance and varied combination punching (=Canelo) is a different story. That being said, Ariza has to sort out Canelo's stamina to give him a proper chance of winning. Then, it'll be a close fight and I wouldn't want to call it.
I know there are a few, and maybe a lot of people who think Matthyse has what it takes to beat Floyd. Trust and believe, if he was outpointed by a 140-lb Zab Judah, Floyd would eat his ass alive. Matthyse has legitimate power, and good skill, but let's not get carried away. For him to even be in a close fight with Zab like that and to be outboxed in spots, means he is no Superman. And YES, I count the fight as a loss for Matthyse. You guys can say what you want about a robbery, but the fact remains Zab won more rounds, although not as convincingly.
Bazooka esb lifetime ban bet and took canelito after I baited him into it through ridicule in which he presumably could not take the abuse anymore. 24 hours he publically retracted said bet after realizing that Floyd is going to show the world how overrated, how nothing canelito is. but the real **** show is going to follow therafter when the 5'7" canelito is made to look ordinary and average against the likes of lara, vanes, Rosado and Molila regargdless of the foul scores perpetrated by the paid off gbp judges.
nor will he ever be. canelito is just not that good. horrible footwork, low work rate, needs to set to punch, possible stamina issues and no one-punch knockout power at the weight. and to think that some nuthuggers believe that canelito would be successful at 160. just shows the level of stupidity on ths esb forums. alvarez would get beat down...hard...at mw. I would be amazed if little canelito made it twelve rounds with jr.
