Of course, I scored the 2nd fight for Canelo, I don't know why there's so much controversy. GGG did absolutely nothing the first half of the fight, I don't count ineffective jabs vs heavy body punches that actually hurt GGG. It was a pretty easy fight to score, only gave GGG the 4th after round 8, GGG clearly won rounds 9, 10, 11, I gave Canelo the 12th, so did 2 out of the 3 judges. Boxrec fan score have the 12th even, but even if I did give GGG the 12th, he would still lose on my cards 7 rounds to 5.
It depends on how you score it. Super close fight, but if you liked Canelo’s counters over G’s jabs then you can make a strong case for Canelo winning.

The second fight was 115-113 for GGG and I have watched it a few times and cannot see anymore that 5 rounds for Canelo. The first fight was one of the worst robberies I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of fights in Queensland.
Scored it for GGG on the night, and once since. People get too caught up in the "story of the fight." It wasn't the fight we all expected, but that doesn't mean that GGG lost.
Canelo didn't run like the first fight so suddenly GGG did because he took steps back to keep range against stumpy arms. It was closer so Canelo won. Golovkin didn't KO him so Canelo won. But Golovkin was dumb trying to box him after the first fight where he got robbed. He needed to go for the KO there, at least get KD's.
