Does Canelo punch harder than Kell Brook?

Brook hasn't knocked out a decent fighter in his entire career. And he's only beaten one decent fighter.

 

He likely does, what we do know for sure is that Canelo is on a higher level.

 

Canelo just but let's see if brook starts laying people out at 154 first!

 

They're pretty similar imo, fairly heavy handed either way. But I agree that Canelo is more accurate and has better placement. That makes a big difference.

 

Again, though, it was timing and placement. The last punch in that series was clearly not expected by GGG and it landed on the sweet spot. Those are the shots that get people outta there.

Same with Wilder and Povetkin. Wilder has shattering power but is all over the place. Povetkin is more measured and probably hits less hard, but is very accurate. Wilder was unable to clean KO Duhaupas in 11 rounds. Povetkin bundled him out emphatically halfway through the fight.

Yes he does, but not by much. But I do think Brook's punching is less sloppy and slightly more accurate than Canelo's. Whereas Canelo would throw one big shot, Brook likes to throw in flashy, fast combinations of power shots. I'd prefer to be hit by Canelo than by Brook, simply because Brook throws more.
