Andre Ward is without question the most talented Super Middleweight and I think his performances have proved that. Regardless of WHERE he fights which has attracted endless amounts of scrutiny he still manges to preform at an elite level.

However, the topic isn't who's the best because that's different depending on who you ask, but who has the most impressive resume, and at this particular time I think Carl Froch is the guy.

Carl Froch owns a knockout over Jermain Taylor, a decision over Andre Dirrell (Even though I thought it was "Home Cooking", a brawl with Mikkel Kessler that could have gone to either man (Kessler getting the "Home Cooking" this time) a dominate decision over Arther Abraham, and now he's next in line for Glen Johnson. Not to mention he has a knockout victory over Lucain Booty's next opponent.

Prior to the Super Six I swore up and down that Carl Froch would be among the first group of guys packing it up and being eliminated, but I have to say that Froch has changed my mind and I have a new found respect for him.

Plead your Case if you disagree; But I think Carl Froch has proved more with a record of 27-1 then Joe Clagzaghe proved his entire career. Froch has traveled, taken on more risk, challenged himself, and his only loss could arguably be a win if it were anyplace but Denmark.

looking at what Pascal has accomplished, on paper I'd have to say yes.

But watching their fights, I'd say that

    1. Ward
    2. Bute
    3. Froch

Froch should be applauded for what he does in the ring, but he is such a mouthy b******** and he moans whenever he loses.

I hope Johnson or Ward knocks him out.

I thought the Kessler fight was close, but had Kessler by a couple points. It wasn't a robbery by any means. What happened in the Dirrell fight was a robbery.

As far as resume's, Froch has a good resume, especially for not even having 30 fights yet. He is fighting better competition one after another in a shorter period of time, than Calzaghe did, and by the time he retires, his overall level of opposition will definitely be better. It is arguable that it is right now. That being said, Froch, had a brawl, and lost to a shopworn version of Kessler. While Calzaghe beat a better version of Kessler clearly. All in a row though, Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, and a still serviceable Glen Johnson next. That is a pretty tough run right there. Win lose or draw, Froch is fighting top level guys repeatedly.

I'd probably say Ward has the best Super Middleweight resume, then Froch, then Kessler, then Bute.

For me not a chance. These are his best wins

What did Pascal do at SMW?
What has Dirrell done at SMW? Although a great talent - his best win is Abraham.
Taylor, who had lost 2/3 was beating Froch until the dying seconds.
Abraham a middleweight who had been taken apart by Dirrell. Arabaham is Froch's only prime win. Abraham's best win is Miranda.

Froch is a 2-time Champ, yet he has not beaten a reigning Champ.

I consider Calzaghe beating Kessler & Lacy better than anything Froch has done at 168.

I also thought both Dirrell and Kessler beat Froch.

Kessler clearly has a better resume than Froch.
