Does Carl Froch slow his opponents careers down?

    It appears that win or lose, Froch seems to drain opponents

    he certainly shortened groves imo

    and that is just my opinion

    Now Froch is shutting down fighters by simply not getting in the ring anymore. What a disgrace this guy has become.

    I picked Groves to win the first fight against Froch. I though if Groves can avoid getting caught he would win and it did look that way before the debateable stoppage.
    For the rematch I was very unsure who to pick as I have always said that a defeat can have a big effect and maybe the defeats have effected George

    Is a fighter nearer 40 not allowed to retire or slow down a bit?
    Froch lost to Ward but took many of the big opportunity to win fights off Ward in undefeated Dirrell, Kessler rematch, Abraham when he hadnt been clearly beaten, Bute, undefeated Groves etc
