Does Catch Wrestling have a place in MMA or is BJJ the only serious option?

    Barnett proved on several occasions that catch wrestling (like any other disciplines such as bjj , kickboxing , sambo , judo) , can also be effective in mma. so yes , it has its place.

    Yea, probably the best representative of it, he has a few people training under him in that compete as well.

    Barnett is a very good example. I would personally pick Sakuraba as the best. Both have done extensive training with Billy Robinson.

    Yea Sak all time, Barnett currently, in terms of representing in MMA.

    Why bother with either BJJ or catch wrestling just trian Jeet kon do with Canibus! LOL

    In all seriousness Billy Robinson is another guy who would have mauled Bruce Lee. In fact most of the guys from that Wigan snake pit would have done the same.
