    No.

He fought with ZERO passion. As far as the 12th round goes, too little too late.

Good for Chavez that he even had one good 15 second period in the entire fight; plainly this is going to hugely cushion the crushing blow that being blown out on the big stage would ordinarily have on a fighter.

I think at the end of the fight with Chavez smiling, it seemed to me he was happy for the reason you just mentioned... like he knew the last minute KD will cushion the hard cold facts that he was schooled for 11.5 rounds

No to Rematch! It will be the same results. Or Chavez Jr comes with confidence but gets decked like Paul Williams thinking he can hurt Sergio early. If he chooses to fight within the 11.5 rounds, lol.

I think down the line, but not right away. The last 2 rounds were dramitact, but it was a clear win for Martinez.

That talk of a rematch is bull****! How does he deserve a rematch? Sergio was KD but he got back and won the test of the round! In fact he stunned JC Jnr near the end! Absolute bull**** of a rematch but money talks

What I will say is if there is a rematch Martinez will need to KO Chavez early and not be too risky with his hands down

    Great display by Martinez though

I'd buy it...I think the "moment" was too big for Junior, if he had worked and let his hands go more he could beat Martinez, not saying he would but I'd like his chances. Beyond that, doesn't matter what he deserves, more about what gets the fighters paid/what sells...rematch would sell.
