Does Chavez Jr actually DESERVE a rematch?

    well, there will always be that idea in the back of people's minds surrounding chavez's gameplan, and if he would have been more successful had he been more active from the very start of the fight, and because of that, coupled with the drama of the final round, a rematch is warranted.

    also, realistically, who would be a better candidate for a middleweight championship showdown with martinez? geale? quillin? no fan base and not there yet for those two, in that order. golovkin falls in the same category as geale, simply no fan base in america, even though he has the potential to build one. on the other end, an argument can be made for a rematch not necessarily being in order, but no one can argue that it doesn't makes all the sense in the world from several perspectives.

    No, but if they want to rematch, so be it. The end result will remain the same.

    Sergio is just the better fighter.
