Valero was the ****ing man. such ****ing promise. I couldn't wait for his fights to happen... I thought him fighting lamont peterson was going to break his K.O. streak.
that's the discouraging more than likely. I hit duddy for decision by accident.. too much riding on chav. and people both question duddy decisions as well as chavez jr decisions... chav would get the lil box with the bow on it if duddy don't bash his world.
I mean it..in the manner of warrior props... but women love him to pieces in my neighborhood.... they don't even know he boxes... he stays low key.
I wanted to see valero fight jaun diaz at 135 or move up and fight maidana or bradley!! Man the guy had so much talent, Its too bad his mind wasnt right!
there was big talks with Bradley...and then i read many things of him fighting Lamont Peterson instead... no official date though. He would have beat Peterson in a totally different manner than Bradley... a K.O. would have been a tough order though. Valero was great. I hate reading when people **** on him.
He gets love. Him and James Moore pop up around town.. I've gotten tickets to the Garden on St. Pattys day to see him at the Garden already.. bus trips to see James Moore fight in some venues.. He is on MSG alot and on the vs network...
Thats cool. Its always good when people support their local fighters! Duddy is a tough guy, he fights like a true irish warrior! :good
Yeah.. but John don't play into any of that type of hype or anything for himself. He is there to do his job. He's a big boxing fan and he works hard... wants to be great. wants the big money. won't fold or quit ..or ever be a Bob arum puppet for some type of whatever purpose. ( I heard people say that) He thought I was crazy for not knowing who Barry Mcguigan is. almost seemed amazed and disgusted.
I have to see if i can rally up some troops... it's either some cats over my house and we order... or I go to the bar thats having it.. 10 bucks at the door.
