Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez has equaled Joe Calzaghe's mark of 46-0-0 after Gonzalez' victory against Carlos Cuadras this past Saturday night.

Chocolatito is now 46-0-0 (38) and has won belts in 4 different weight classes.

Gonzalez is 29 years old and would seem to have some time left in his career.

Also just want to say to the mods and site owners I love the new design and layout. Good interface!

Even if Gonzalez gets to, say, 51-0, he'd still be a long way off from the career start of fellow Latino Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr. (87-0-0).

Tall ask, especially with Inoue and Estrada living their chops to get their hands on him. Not to mention Roman said that he'd give Cuadras a rematch.

    Inoue
    Estrada
    Cuadras

    Damn!!!

If he stays at 115 and fights these bigger guys like Inoue he might not reach 49-0. If he stays at 112 and fights guys more his size, it's highly possible he surpasses 49-0.

Why is Marciano even a record... lol (For HW'S I get it....) But a grip of MoFo's have had longer undefeated streaks than 49-0.

Jimmy Barry was like 59-0 with 9 draws and 2 NCs.

Ricardo Lopez was like 51-0 with 1 draw.

HBO will see to it that he beats that record but the point of the record is the names on it not the number itself.

Marciano: Archie Moore, Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Joe Walcott, Roland La Starza,

Mayweather: Genero Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, JL Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, and we all know his record after that.

Roman Gonzales: Juan Francisco Estrada, Carlos Cuadras, no none else.
