If you seen the fight you'd know the answer to that question. Martinez first scored a 7th round KO and then was robbed of a UD. You know the old saying "he needs to knock him out to get a draw"??? That what happened.
I was one of the few that wasn't surprised by the scorecards after the Martinez - Cintron fight. The fact that both were extremely cautious and landed few and far in between is probably what gave the judges the impression that it was a fairly even fight. Regardless of who you thought won the fight, BOTH fighters needed to do a little more than they did to impress the judges.
Ref screwed up, and so did the judges. Just because they have a score card in front of them doesnt mean they got it right. But im not an official judge so what do i know.
Of course he does, his power is his main chance and Williams isn't hard to catch though can afford it with his good chin. My pick is Williams by mid-round KO.
Maylo, CASH thanks for literacy class. I haven't seen the fight. I perceive Williams fight as Margarito all over again. I see Williams winning by the way KO. If Cintron wins it's because he has Williams number or by some miracle.
He does have a chance but slim. He should be able to hurt Williams at some point in the fight but Williams huge will will be the X factor. At 154 I go with Williams by late knockout.
No problem. Dont get me wrong though, if Cintron can land that bomb early, it can be sleepy time for PW. I dont think itll happen though.
Pull Williams out of position with footwork, fire hard counters, and slide/roll out. The playbook on Williams is in paperback at this point.
