    Corrie Sanders - Wladimir Klitschko

    Riddick Bowe - Evander Holyfield

These are their only good wins

Wladimir arguably has a better resume than Holyfield, less losses, more title defenses against top contenders, he's also bigger and stronger than Holyfield so take that into consideration when assessing this carefully

    No.

Sanders’ best win after Wladimir is Bert Cooper and he has losses to Hasim Rahman and Nate Tubbs for some reason.

Bowe at least has wins over Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tubbs, Michael Dokes. He beat a prime Holyfield unlike Sanders who beat a green Wladimir, and he actually did it once more to prove it wasnt just a fluke.

I'm a big Sanders fan but while Wlad is the better win than Holyfield, the rest of Sanders' resume falls a bit short of Bowe's roster. If he'd trained properly and somehow beaten Vitali, I might be singing a different tune because that would be a pair of huge wins.

There are some decent names that Sanders beat, though, and the gap isn't as wide as you might think. Czyz, Puritty, Cole, Du Plooy, Nelson and Cooper are all useful names.

I voted no because there was no "HELL no" option, but in fairness to Sanders, he had Vitali in semi-serious trouble for twenty seconds or so in the early rounds before getting KO'd in (I think) the seventh.

    Bowe beat 6 ranked fighters.

    Sanders beat 1 ranked fighter.

Bowe has wins over Holyfield x2, Tubbs, Thomas, Hide, Gonzalez, Dokes, Donald, Seldon.

Some of these fighters were past their prime but that's still 6 Heavyweights who held world titles at some point.

Sanders only really has the Wladimir win and nothing else apart from a few notable Cruiserweights who failed as Heavyweights.

To answer the thread no absolutely not.

Sanders has a better resume than Nate Tubbs, but I’d call it a wash since Nate won by KO in 2.

Bowe was never stopped in the ring and only out pointed once by Evander Holyfield whom he stopped twice. He has additionally good wins over Hide, Gonzalez, and Donald when they were undefeated to go along with Bert Cooper, Bruce Seldon, and a still serviceable Tony Tubbs. I won’t count the wins over Biggs and Thomas as they were pretty much done. But this trumps Sanders resume in both the win AND loss columns

Still, it's hard to say Sanders had a better resume, but it's closer than most assume. Riddick had a "curated" career.

Sanders died jumping in front of a bullet and Bowe dropped out of boot camp.

True, Bowe has the better resume but he never had heart period. He was a bully and that's it that's why he never fought Lennox and why he retired after Golota. He had talent but overall not a great heavyweight period.

You can definitely question Bowe’s level of motivation and desire to train. I also think he was Rock Newman’s puppet when it came to match making.

I disagree about his heart. He could have stayed down against Holyfield, but got up and stopped him. Watch the third round of the Golota rematch. Foreman says “Bowe is possibly the bravest fighter I’ve ever seen in the heavyweight division next to Ali.” Bowe took an absolute beating in the rematch but never stopped trying. Jim Lampley commented on Bowe’s “courage and will” late in the fight. There’s a great post fight interview on HBO with Lou Duva, Golota’s trainer, where he says Bowe proved him wrong and can take a punch. Bowe was damaged goods after that fight, likely after Holyfield 3.

Say what you want about those Heavyweights I already mentioned some of them were past their prime.

But they were accomplished Heavyweights many of them held world titles at some point.

Sanders pretty much has 0 relevant wins against any notable Heavyweight outside of Wladimir.

Now let's see you do a list of Sanders best wins outside of Wladimir I guarantee it will look considerably worse than Bowe's resume.

Bowe beating 6 top 10 ranked Heavyweights is a big difference to beating 1 top 10 ranked Heavyweight in comparison to Sanders.

Bowe also has 5 world title wins compared to 1 for Sanders.

I don't see how it's close to be quite frank Bowe even beat a better version of Bert Cooper and stopped him quicker.

To put it into perspective Bowe took 70+ punches in round 2 against Golota in their 2nd fight.

I've never seen a Heavyweight take as many punches as that in a round especially from a 240 pound Heavyweight.

The beating Bowe took against Golota many Heavyweights wouldn't have taken anywhere near that amount of punishment.

You can say Bowe lacked motivation but he certainly didn't lack heart.
