Does Cotto deserve to be in the top 10 of the last decade when Lennox Lewis ain't?

I kinda sit in the middle.

Generally I've never been that big on him, up to the Margarito fight I felt he was pretty overrated, now it's the reverse.

Plaudits to him for being willing to take on anyone, and also taking his defeats in a sporting manner - the complete opposite of Hatton, it must be said - certainly in the defeats section.... willingness is open to debate (Witter etc).

Does he get in a top 10..... for me probably not, he'd be just outside. But I wouldn't argue with someone who chose to include him, so long as their reasoning was accurate.

 

And Lennox achieved more in those seven fights than most supposed ATGs achieved in their careers.

There is only one genuine ATG British fighter and he is Lennox... Were was Calzaghe?

 

Yeah i would expect him to be in there. What a debate that would cause...another fighter people are half and half about .

 

Did not see this list but people have different opinions on stuff like this.Id say Lewis should be in but would not have wright in.As for Cotto he probably would not be on my list either.

 

"Naive tactics" as Jim Watt would say by Hatton and his fans again. Only a football-centric chav would mention shitty ideas like this. Cotto is a league above Hatton in every category.

 

I don't think Cotto is top 10 but he's superior to Hatton certainly.

And as for Hatton being the only man to stop Malignaggi like thats some massive achievement..disingenous at best. Everybody knows the actual circumstances, Malignaggi was pulled out when he didn't want or need to be.
