Does Cotto have a chance of beating Mayweather?

I think the current faded version of Miguel Cotto has ZERO chance of beating Floyd "the wifebeater" Mayweather right now.

In 2007 or before the Margarito fight in 2008, Cotto-Mayweather would have been a 50-50 fight.

But ever since Cotto took the terrible beating from Margarito's plaster, he's not the same fighter. Miguel is still very good, but he's no longer an elite fighter.

If Cotto had any chance, Floyd would not fight him.

Only reason why I give Cotto a chance is because he's coming off a string of 3 KO wins over solid opposition, and I'm slightly unsure if all the BS in Floyds personal life maybe have finally gotten to him or not (although it hasn't yet as the Ortiz fight showed). I say Floyd should be a 3-1 favorite, but if Cotto can land something solid he has a chance, especially since this will be at a weight that Cotto is more comfortable at. Last time Floyd fought this heavy he squeaked out a decision win over a past his prime and IMO slightly overrated ODLH (No disrespect I am a fan of Oscar's). It should be interesting no matter how it goes, I just hope Cotto can at least rattle Floyd and make it exciting.

Slim chance.. Floyd is too technically sound, accurate and tough (both physically and mentally).

Last time Floyd fought this heavy he fought a guy who wanted to be his Promoter (ODLH). Oscar had even hired Floyds dad to train him for a couple of fights previously, and this is how Floyd knew OScar was having stamina issues, and it's also how Floyd leaned about every other weakness Oscar had. But, what did Oscar care? Oscar got a great Paycheck and Mayweather in his stable of fighters.

Jeez...what a conflict of business interest.

I wasnt aware of all that information. Its sad because Oscar should have put his legacy before money. If I'm already rich I would sacrifice to be even more rich if it ment keeping a loss off my record. What do you think Oscar would have done if he beat Floyd then?
