If so it doesn't mean anything. Most, if not all ATG suffered defeat.

idk why people thinks its not a big accomplishment that he beat mosley and judah... first off, for all you nuthugging floyd mayweather fans, judah knocked mayweather down and had him rocked, although he didnt win the fight he only lost the cards. Cotto anihilated him. Cotto also annihalated two other common opponents in Ndou and Corley, who rocked Cotto but who also rocked Maywethaer with the same exact punch.

Judah is faster than Mayweather and Cotto did just fine. Cotto can beat Mayweather and yes, Cotto can definitely be an ATG. He gains the RESPECT from his opponents. Just look at the way Malignaggi talks about him.

He can be top 15- top 10 by the end of his career. The guy fights like 4 times a year, so well see.

Yes, as long as he avoids Floyd. PBF would beat him even easier than he beat Hatton, IMO. I think Hatton would beat Cotto aswell. I'd say all together Hatton and Cotto are equal but I think Hatton hits harder and has a better chin.

this is by far the worst post today...

Hatton would get his ass beat by Judah. Put Judah in the ring with Hatton, he'll get ****ed up worse than ever. The fact is this, Hatton never fought anybody despite how much we all, me included, wanted to hype the guy up. I mean CARLOS MAUSSA gave him problems for ****s sake. CARLOS ****IN MAUSSA the same guy that Cotto handily ****ed up and knocked out in his 17th pro fight. Hatton doesnt have a better chin or defense for that matter. The biggest difference, besides power, is adaptability. Cotto can adapt like a great champion, like Mayweather can, Hatton can not adapt. He was knocked down by the exact punch eamon magee knocked him down with.

    COTTO beats HATTON

    JUDAH beats HATTON

    MOSLEY beats HATTON

he needs to go back to 140

I remember watching Cotto back in the ESPN days thinking damn this kid is good. He has come a long way and I think he has a good chance at becoming an ATG.

His mental strengh and attitude really impress me. He already thinks hes the best and is willing to prove it by leaving a path of destruction behind him.

Hatton was shook for the first time in his career against PBF. Cotto has been wobbled loads of time, can you remember when he fought Zab Judah?
If Zab had the balls to go in for the kill he would have stopped Cotto in the first round. :deal

lol Cotto has a better jab than any of mayweathers opponents. Cotto is also an olympic boxer who is naturally lefty meaning he can switch between stands with the same power. Floyd has a lot to watch for in Cotto as well.

That doesnt mean that Zab couldnt do the same to Hatton.

Well I think he wouldn't. Zab couldn't even stop Witter when he was in his prime, so what chance does he have against Hatton?

Zab is faster and punches harder then Floyd. Just because Zab didnt do it to so and so doesnt mean he couldnt do it to Hatton.

And the chance he has is called a PUNCHERS chance. Anything can happen in boxing.

zab does not hit as hard as PBF, nowhere near in fact.
