If anyone questions Cotto's ability to become an all time great probably hasn't seen much of the guy. I've followed just about every single Cotto fight since hes made it on TV and I tell you when he was at 140..the speed, power, intelligence and control impressed me SO much. At 147lbs he may not be as nimble and his KO power may not be as devastating but now is where we get to see Cotto's intelligence. And we saw that in the Judah and Mosley fights. If Cotto wasn't an intelligent fighter he would have lost to Malignaggi, Judah, Mosley and possibly even Quintana. He wins by using his ring smarts, all his other attributes I feel are honestly secondary in his arsenal.

For sure he has the ability to be an atg. If he can make the Floyd fight happen then we will see just how high he can go. A win over Floyd would skyrocket him on atg lists...

IMHO. hes already surpassed rosario. Rosario had some gallant performances but Cotto is clearly a more well rounded, and greater fighter.
