Although he is not a one punch-KO artist i think he is the heaviest handed of them four. What do you think?

Based on what happens when Cotto gets a clean single shot on an opponent - absolutely not.

did you see gomez after that fight? the guy was obviously just trying to seem hard after taking the beating of a lifetime.

margarito throws punches very slowly with not a lot of power, but throws a ton and beats down opponents by accumulated punishment. similarly, williams breaks down his opponents with a tremendous workrate and less powerful punches except he's got very fast hands. clottey im not that sure about as i havent seen him fight as much as the others. cotto does basically the same as williams and margarito but he doesnt throw nearly as many punches and they show the same effect. thus, i say he definitely hits harder than those two at least.

williams and margarito probably hit harder with one single shot when they sit down on their punches and get every thing into them. i think cotto hits harder than clottey though.

Clottey was atleast able to stun Margarito, Cotto never did.

Really man? Cus i know Williams when he sits down on his shots hes got some good power and Margarito gets the accumulation through all the punches he throws. I dunno i always thought Cotto hits harder than Williams and Margo but i could be wrong...

Well Cotto was punching off the backfoot alot against Margo which limits your power while Clottey was shelling up and countering going forward which is why he was able to stun him.

Well it's still possible to Cotto thru accumalation might hit harder than Williams but Williams defitnaly has better 1 punch power.

To me that's what it is. Cotto throws every shot at tremendous force, let's say like 90%. Whereas other fighters will throw shots at 60%, 75%, and 100% on occasion, alternately. My best guess is that 50 punches from Cotto adds up to alot more damage inflicted than most of the other fighters in the sport. He burns up alot of his powers doing that in the first 3/4 of a fight, but the guy is 32-1, it's sort of hard to question his methods.

I think punch for punch he may hit harder than Margo although it is close. Williams seems to have more power in his punches lately, with back-to-back 1st round kayo's over Quintana and the one at middleweight. He hits harder than Clottey.

Well definitely not Margo, with Williams its a bit of a lucky dip in terms of fighting style on that night. Cotto's strongest point is that he is far more precise than any of the other top runners. Margo has power but he is very sloppy in comparison.

Though the Margo fight doesn't look good for his power, but i think you need to remember just who he was fighting. Margos jaw is out of this world, and Cotto also was on the backfoot the whole fight.

I think if Cotto had to receive the punishment he was dishing out against Margo he would have been out of there before the 6th.
