I was looking at the shots Poirier hit Max with and most of his shots looked harder than the shots Conr was hitting Max with, Conor`s KO shots are sharper, but each shot DP throws see,ms to be heavier and more solid, do fans agree?

Disagree. Conor was knocking Eddie Alvarez around the cage like they were in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Eddie ate a ton of punishment from Dustin in their first fight and ended up coming back in a rampage. Then in their second fight it took dozen of flush shots for Dustin to put Eddie away. I think that's a good indication of the difference in their respective punching power.

I don't remember Conor really landing a ton of sustained punishment on Max in their fight. He mostly pieced him up in spurts, using intelligent movement, whereas Dustin basically emptied the clip on Max in the first round. That's why Max was in such danger.

Conor blew his knee in the first fight vs Max and wrestled him for half the fight.

Poirier did load up more on his punches vs Max than he is used to. He did hurt him early and it seemed fairly easy for Poirier to hit Max, so i do think he put more power into his shot, specially in the first two rounds where he did hurt Max basically every time he connected.

I actually do think Porier have a harder punch than McGregor, but not the same timing and precision as McGregor would say.
