Does David Benavidez have what it takes to make a splash at Heavy weight?

    Again the jump from light heavyweight is a considerable one and Briedis is a better fighter than anyone Benavidez has beat. Opetaia won and did so with a broken jaw. From what I’ve seen of him he’s a class fighter with very impressive fundamentals and power. Given these factors and the size difference I wouldn’t give Benavidez much of a chance at him.

    Benavidez would not have a hope at heavyweight. Do you seriously think he could challenge monsters like Fury and AJ? Usyk would hammer him too. He wouldn’t do well against the other top contenders either. It’s absolutely ridiculous to think he will go on to be a heavyweight champ.

    Apparently gvodzyk has had three comeback fights im gonna have to have a look and see what he has left.

    Hmmm ok he's 36 now.
