Does David Haye deserve another Klitschko payday?

    Many people such as Manny Steward and Dan Rafael have said that David Haye does not deserve the fight with Vitali on March 3.

    They say that after Haye's pathetic effort against Wladimir, after all his trash talk and his lame "toe" excuse, he should have to fight and defeat another heavyweight contender before being given this opportunity.

    But Haye says it's either a Klitshko fight or retirement for him, because by fighting any other heavyweight would not have a good payday. The Klitschkos are big draws in Germany regardless of who they fight, and Haye cannot draw flies even in the UK anymore after his weak effort against Wlad.

    I agree with Steward and Rafael, I think Vitali should fight someone else. Let Haye earn his second Klitschko payday by first beating another top 15 heavyweight. He's had his chance, there are others who are more deserving.

    I think what you mean to ask is "Does another Klitschko deserve a David Haye payday?"

    If Haye is the draw, then why can't he get a decent payday fighting someone else?

    Why is it "either Klitschko or retirement" for him?

    The Klitschkos sell out football stadiums in Germany no matter who they fight. They don't need Haye, Haye needs them.

    The German's should get their own slick black fighters instead of keep importing them from the uk.

    Definitely did not earn it, hell he did not earn his shot vs Wlad either.
    He only got it because he got the paper WBA belt that rightfully belonged to Wlad already.

    That being said though assuming Vitali does do his usual thing of beating him senseless for 10 rounds or so before taking him out in dominant fashion ill be ok with it.

    Kinda what Wlad was supposed to do, its a shame Haye will get another large payday for it but oh well.

    After seeing the pics of that toe I'm worried it'll never be 100% again. I don't think you recover from injuries like that.
