I know a lot of chin checking and glass jaw denial goes on in this forum, but I have to ask the question. Have we actually witnessed the glassiest jaw in the history of boxing? I know Fraudley Harrison's jaw was the most fraudulent but his jaw's fragility was connected with his total lack of heart as well. Can anyone else think of a worse jaw that David Price?
Price is close to the top I would think, and we are talking about rated fighters here. For me it's Amir Khan, Roy Jones, David Price, Jason Litzau, Audley Harrison as the worst chins.
Price has an awful Chin. Is it any worse than Roy Jones or Kirkland? :think I pretty much group Jones, Price, Kirkland, Khan, Seth Mitchell, and Fraudley together. Hard to say whose is worse really.
Yeah, it's hard to quantify. When it comes to contending fighters, all of these guys have glass jaws of the most fragile degree. And Wilder will join the club soon, once his fragile mandible is completely exposed. I mean think about it right. Put Fraudley Mitchell or Price in with a live body, say a Tony Thompson. What would happen to each? They'd all get starched. Yes, Price did, but can you see the outcome being any different for the others?
Have to give Price some credit though... He didn't spend years padding his record against complete stiffs like Fraudley did, he actually stepped up and attempted to prove himself against rated fighters. He failed miserably but at least he had the guts to it.
