No, this is true. Notice how Wilder's management, for example, has been VERY careful to keep him far away from the Tony Thompson-level of fighter.

Exactly and even though he's stepped up the competition a little bit he's facing guys with either little power, and/or who stylistically play right into his hands. There's a reason why he's facing a guy who fights mostly on the backfoot, and has little power. After the Molina scare they can't take any more risks!

You are so wise in the ways of chin checking. I want to learn the great art of mandible inspection and become a master chin checker.

I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Manchester in Anatomy and am currently doing a masters in Jaw studies.

Wilder's Jaw is an absolute disgrace to boxing. I suspect any good LHWT would have him dancing.

Good shout. At least his glass didn't hang around unlike Wilder's which is still hanging on for dear life against terrible fighters.

Rico has a Ph.D. in mandibular deficiency studies from a prestigious New England institution. His advisor was the renowned Dr. Zak, probably the world's pre-eminent authority on fraudulent facial structures.

This pair of altruistic geniuses have given tirelessly and selflessly of their time and expertise to neophytes such as your self, young eagers, anxious to learn the ins and outs of this most significant and under-reported aspect of the manly art.

You are in good hands here, Markhor.

May God bless and protect these incisive scholars of the sport as they slither through our consciousness, educating and elucidating, exposing frauds and unmasking impostors !

We owe them a debt that can never be repaid.

Price should join TMT in Vegas.

Fortunately, you're in the right country. Plenty of specimens on the Isle of Glass Jaws for you to study.

Yeah you have to give Price some credit, you don't see Wilder fighting Thompson or Teper and he's the WBC "Champion".....

I honestly think Wilder's chin could be just as bad if not worse than Price. Why else would they keep putting him in with such featherfisted opposition, Wilder after 6 years of being a professional is still fighting the same level of competition as a touted prospect after 1-2 years. It's a joke.

I honestly think Thompson or Teper would beat Wilder just as easy as they did Price, hell I'd pick Joshua over Wilder at this stage and I ain't even sold on AJ. Wilder holding the WBC belt hostage reminds me of John Ruiz all over again.

It's bad but the worst ever? Not even close that title belongs to Eric Crumble who was KO'ed in all 31 of his fights.

I don't even think he has the worst chin of a British heavyweight in recent times. Audley Harrison was sparked out completely with one shot by Sprott of all people who has never been a puncher and had only 13 stoppage wins out of his 29 wins coming into the fight. Being KO'ed by a decent puncher like Teper or a world class heavyweight like Thompson is one thing but to be out cold from one shot from a career journeymen who isn't even known as a puncher signifies pure porcelain.

We're talking about rated fighters here, not circus shows like Crumble.

I've only seen his first loss to Thompson, not his other losses.
But that was enough. A nothing shot thrown with no leverage or snap behind it, the kind of shot that regularly bounces off other guys that barely makes them flinch, and he goes down like a felled ox.
    It's a pretty bad chin.
Too bad...I had high hopes for him.

The shot that Teper caught him with was the same, and Price went down like he had been shot.
