Does Davis end up looking like Tagoe in the fight against Garcia?

The story of this entire comment section is basically asking whether Ryan will handle getting clipped by Davis at some point in the fight? Everyone appears to agree that Ryan will probably win rounds. But the consensus for those choosing Davis seems to always boil down to his power punches KOing Garcia later in the fight.

I wonder if this is simply because that is what Davis did to Romero and Barrios? Davis is indeed a strong puncher with good timing and variety of punches (counters and uppercuts). However, I also think he’s not strictly a one punch KO guy so much as a heavy puncher. It took him long time to get Gamboa out of there and wasn’t able to finish a hard headed Cruz.
To me Davis isn’t a lights out puncher, but one that breaks his opponents down with repeated long term punishment.

While anything can happen, i view the chance of a quick KO shot from Davis in this fight unlikely. Garcia isn’t a defensive fighter, but I don’t see him walking into a shot like Romero or Santa Cruz. He’s decent enough on the front foot by using straight punches and doesn’t lunge when throwing hooks. Ironically, Garcia being flat-footed maybe a plus for him as that’ll limit the chances of him walking into Davis’ range and get clipped the way Romero did (who was reckless on the front foot).

If Davis wins by stoppage, it will have to by accumulating punishment on Garcia. The question is, will Garcia’s own speed and power allow him to do that???

Tank and Tagoe fight nothing alike. Don't understand the comparison he's trying to do here. Tank will catch Ryan in the exchange and its lights out.

 

Davis did not throw a lucky counter against Rolly Romero Tank was winning the fight on points and set Rolly up to be knocked out. As for Garcia he is not a better boxer than Tank nor is he a better puncher nor does he have Tank’s durability. Tank is going to beat the living **** out of Garcia and stop him. When Tank stops guys like you will say he was lucky to stop him. Of course your whole hypothesis is BS because Tank knocks mother****ers out!

Garcia is not that good a boxer and he won’t outbox Tank.
