boxercise ben almost ruined tyson fury, thankfully tyson listened to his father and got him the **** out of there. Sugar hill is the perfect match.
He still probably beats Wilder in the 2nd and 3rd fights with Davison, just not in as dramatic fashion as was. When Fury was cut against Wallin he became more aggressive and roughed him up. So, the fight he implemented in #2 was not new to him.
Absolutely, and he wouldn't have been dropped twice and smashed in the head flush a ton of times alongside. If you listen to Fury after the first fight, he said he didn't feel confident trying to get Wilder in real trouble after he'd stunned him a number of times boxing careful, the reason simply he'd been out of the ring and didn't want to gas. So it's pretty obvious that even in that defensive style Fury was hurting Wilder a number of times and all he had to do was capitalise more on this when he was in better condition. He could easily have done this with Davison and likely got a safer stoppage. The Sugar Hill myth was exposed in the third fight when it took 11 rounds to stop Wilder. The idea was supposed to be not letting Wilder hang around for the whole fight due to how dangerous he was, anyone remember that? How long is a decision fight again? 12 rounds? So basically Fury took a bunch of bombs and dropped twice to avoid one round extra? How is this avoiding the danger he faced in the first fight? All that happened is he got more brain damage and was closer to losing, getting bombed in round 4 this time. Davison is a hell of a lot smarter than Hill, regardless of experience. Just listening to them talk will showcase that clearly. Hill's advice was typical fluff. Hill would have gotten Fury KO'd in the first fight, and could easily get Fury KO'd against Joshua.
