Lots of people saying on various YouTube videos that DAZN couldn't sign Canelo because he's a PPV star and you need PPV to pay him , DAZN are in the market to show Canelo Vs Fielding which I doubt would be PPV anywhere but if Canelo won Callum Smith Vs Canelo could be a big PPV superfight that could really put DAZN on the the map , I'm almost certain Eddie Hearn told the world that DAZN would have 4 big PPV events per year that weren't included in the sub fee , can anyone clarify ?

No. What Hearn was saying they will be 4 PPV like shows in scale. DAZN doing PPV is the opposite of there business model.

I guess to get a star like Canelo (they already have the other one in Joshua) they are gonna have to be willing to pay him PPV money. If the budget is really as big as we're lead to believe that shouldn't be a problem. It's not like getting Canelo doesn't get them a ton of money in subs.

this is true only if they have competition ready to throw that money at Canelo..if not..they will dictate the price.

Oh ok cheers , so there is a much bigger budget for 4 big fights per year that would potentially warrant ppv elsewhere.

They would have to offer ridiculous momey for Canlo imo. Why would he take a flat rate if he can get huge PPV upside? Doesn't make sense for him or goldenboy.
