Would this still be a big draw in Australia? Or has this window long been closed?

I can see a lot of upside for Browne if he can pull off an upset over a ranked opponent, but does a win over Browne at this stage of his career do anything for Demsey?

It would've been a really good Aussie showdown a few years ago. I would still never count Browne out he has devastating power and is always tough. A few years ago I would've favored Browne by KO but McKean would have to be a big favorite now as Browne is 44 years old.

This fight almost happened a couple of years ago. It was agreed to and perhaps even signed? As always there were two sides to what happened after that but the most plausible seemed to be that Browne changed his mind. I anticipate a certain member here contesting that but as I said, there are almost always too sides to these things.

Not sure this fight is as relevant now as it was back then. Potentially a decent scrap though.

Somehow I doubt it, McKean wants a bigger fight, after Hrgovic Brown would be a step back and I think McKean would stop him.

I don’t agree. He stepped up and got beaten, a fight against Browne who is very beatable and has name recognition is perfect…..unless he loses.

Demsey McKean vs. Joseph Goodall would also be a great fight.

I prefer this fight to one with Browne. Browne vs Chisora I wouldn’t mind seeing

Good call. I like McKean-Goodall way more than I like McKean-Browne.

Nah, would be boring and a fairly easy McKean win.

Browne would be better against someone like Chisora or Helenius. Maybe even Kownacki.

Brown is really taking a risk, he is only three years younger than Wladimir but he probably lacks money so he is forced to fight.

Browne will always be dangerous for 2 rounds.
