I hear that. When I learned to box as a kid, one of the very first things that was stressed upon me was the importance of NOT GETTING HIT! Hit but don't get hit. Stick and move. Still, I know what it is like to take hard shots to the head. IT ****ING SUCKS!!! It is often overwhelmingly obvious that most here are unfamiliar with the experience, therefore lack the understanding of what a fighter is going through during a fight, and are concerned more with being entertained rather than identifying with the fighter's perspective. Things are SO much different when it is YOU in the ring.

Very exciting to watch if you ask me. All the physical gifts are there, and he is vulnerable. If he had some more power, we would be hailing him as the next "Big Thing" in boxing. I find him more fun to watch than Chad Dawson & Paul Williams - which folks can argue based on their own preferences. Good B+ world class level guy. Only a few elements missing, and let's be honest look at the level he is fighting at with only 20 fights under his belt. He and Andre Ward should feel proud of themselves whatever the outcome of the tournament.

Speed is exciting . Frustration may be had by the fans who are hoping for the other fighter to win though.

off topic- I think his brother is a little bit better.

Yeah. It's the easiest thing in the world to sit in an armchair and criticize a guy for not getting punched in the head enough for you to enjoy the fight. :yep

last night for 3/4 of the fight Dirrell was slipping countering and using movement as it should be and kicking Abrahams ass. He was not runing for dear life ala May vs Baldo or Cory load of **** Spinks. Too bad we were deprived of some real drama at the end by a frustrsted Abraham so pissed he couldnt control himself. Too bad good call Props to DIRREL.....Ward now seems to be clear favorite in super six

Ha Ha - Spinks is actually a great boxer. Another guy who could use a power boost. The ringwalk dancing on the way to getting KO'd is one of my favorite recent boxing memories. Zab was pacing around the ring like a puma ready to strike...

Despite all the negativity that Judah sets himself up for, you have to admire his determination and desire for payback against Spinks. He went TO St.Louis to fight Spinks and took it for a mere (not mere to me, to him) $100,000. Then, as you said, paced back and forth anxiously while Spinks and Nelly took their sweet time to get to the ring. THEN, ended it in dramatic fashion! Credit to Judah for that one.

    Well.....

the style from the Frocgh fight... was horrible to watch.

Yesterday, I think it was a joy for most of the fight. Until he was pressured in round 7-8 onwards and he started running a bit more and falling down and all that. That is pathetic to be honest.

But I saw clear improvements and I think he will develop into a fan friendly fighter. Actually more fan friendly that 99% of fighters out there... Ambitious but I do think so...

    Did well early but.............

Dirrell was ready to be knocked out, sent down from a left jab/slip, noticed he looked over at his corner, then acted like he was suddenly knocked out. Abraham was on his way to a knockout win and Dirrell knew it. Cole is an idiot. Abraham clearly knocked Dirrell down and Cole called it a slip! Video says otherwise. The cut was caused by a headbutt, video clearly shows this. Dirrell did a good acting job. Watch the video again, watch Dirrell look at his corner before pretending he was knocked out. Dirrell was finished and he knew it. This is not the first time Cole has been biased. Check out many of his fights in Texas protecting the home fighter. I had Abraham losing on points as I expect him to do, but the knockout was there to be had, Dirrell was finished, therefore the acting job.
