Let's call it before the fight actually happens and see who the real chin experts are, does Dominic Breazeale have a Glass Jaw? What's his punch resistance like, he has suffered any knockdowns in the ams or pros? Will he go down as easily as Charles Martin or will he show solid whiskers like Whyte and take AJ's power for several rounds? Thoughts?
Not a bad chin just terrible stamina. He may have been able to get away with what he did against smaller heavyweights but not against a big guy like Joshua
Breazeale showed a good chin vs Mansour, getting nailed over and over with good shots. He was hurt a few times and dropped once, but got back up and fought hard, showing a lot of heart to get the win. His chin is not the problem, it is his lack of hand speed.
He got knocked down and buzzed pretty good against Mansour, he was buzzed for the rest of the round too but recovered pretty well in the next round. Seems like he has an average chin. He can be hurt if he had glass, he'd be out like David Price from an average shot like David Price. A lot of times, a glass chin will manifest slowly, from one solid hit and a fighter starts checking out out of the fight. I've seen Michael Grant lose this way against Takam. Breazeale can fight when hurt he's going to need to.
This. His defense could use work as well. He tends to keep his hands lower than he should. Hopefully he learned from Martin, who got hit flush with the same right over and over.
Glass jaw possibly, but he has heart and seems to get stronger as the fight goes on. I think AJ is in for a war and in my gut i believe Breazeale will win the fight by tko within 7-10 rounds.
Whyte exposed Joshua's ability to clinch instinctively when in trouble and recover then rebound you mean.
