    Well, nothing new - Dorticos carries good power, but the knockout was due to poor Kudryashov's defence and overall footwork. Having rewatched the knockout, I see that Kudryashov was clearly done by the time he got tagged, so the fight would have ended soon anyway. He just doesn't know how to recover from a hard punch, which is a vital skill at the top level.

    Dorticos was faster, better schooled and had better fundamentals. Kudryashov threw himself off balance with a big left hook counter and instead of bringing his left hand back up to protect himself when he was out of position he flicked out a silly jab and left himself wide open to Dorticos' best weapon: his big right hand and it was great right too. If you leave yourself open to a shot like that with full leverage on it from a heavy puncher chances are you're going down.

    Think he might have been a bit stunned or still feeling the effects of the accumulation of the other big shots he took too.

    Not all power comes as flashy & pleasing to the eye as Julian Jackson, Hearns or Foster.

    Some are deceptively heavy handed, the guys above wanted to show-off their power because it was a primary element of their psychological war. Not every puncher rehearses how he will wave you down as you fall down helplessly...great for TV

    The great thing about a tournament is we get to find out in a few months, when Dorticos faces (most likely) Gassiev.

    I think naturally it's a bit of both, but more that Kudryashov can't take it from an elite boxer. Has neither the defence or the chin, or even mental toughness.

    Power and speed. The russian didn't see it coming and also he was a slow molasses.

    Speed and power is a potent combination. The Cube was just a bit too fast for the Russian.

    Kudryashov was always the weakest of the bunch. His defense is lousy and his chin isn't the greatest. He was also facing a power puncher, so it's a combination of the 3.

    Dorticos can punch and take a punch. We've known that since the Kalenga fight. Kudryashov can punch like hell but can't take it. We know this as well. He's also a very basic boxer with poor defence and an inability to recover from hard shots. The poll is rightly 50-50.

    It says more about Kudryashov level as boxer, he has nothing except punch. Kudryashov looks good with slow, not very technical boxers.

    Kudryashov loves to punch, but doesnt like, not even a little bit, to be punched.

    He was standing knocked out most of the second round. He cant take a serious punch.
