Just watched the IFL interview with Mick who stated that Sky put a bid in for Fury Wlad 2...yet Eddie said Sky weren't interested...more bull**** from Roger Moore. Trying to think of times he has not told porkies...anyone?
When he first came around, I thought he was going to be good for boxing (for a promoter at-least). Now i'm getting a bit sick of the dross that is being served up so often, the fact that a fighter like Kell Brook isn't getting meaningful fights or he isn't dipping into his pockets enough. I mean come on he must be making a fortune with AJ already. If he had that much faith in Brook he would pay for a decent operator to come over. Personally I think his focus is almost entirely on AJ now, recent PPV event's are ridiculous also. It's sad that what is being served up is PPV now to be honest and I won't be paying until I feel like a worthy PPV card is being made.
Eddie DID say sky were interested but then it got too close to a Joshua fight and that's their priority.
I'd probably believe Mick over Roger now. The PPV issue is a farce now- the Joshua fight is only on PPV because they can do it and not because the fight can't be made without that model.
I still remember an ifl interview with kugan where eddie said ppv would only be used for fights that can't be made without it. Never believe a word that comes out that knobs mouth
I do think that purses for headline fights in the UK should published so the public can see if the PPV argument is justified.
Joshua is PPV because he does 300,000+ buys. Every other promoter would do the the exact same thing. Are his fights PPV worthy.. Of course not but I can see why hearn and sky are going down this route as AJ is the money man. You don't leave money on the table when a fighter is this over.
Fact is that eddies fighters are seeing him for what he isnow....Aj is the main priority.....the other fighters are feeling like just card fillers....inside info tells me luke campbell asked hearn for cardle fight....eddie came up with some bull exsuse....campbell considering linking with haymon....and rightly so
Ifl interview in the office with Shannon Briggs basically saying he can milk the casuals and over hype everything. Anyone who buys the next Joshua ppv is a fool. People should take a stand.
Hearn claimed he had Wembley booked for 9th July. Wazza claimed this wasn't true as he had the stadium booked for that date.
I'd like Pro Punter's odd fantasies to be noted. This will no doubt be used as evidence against him in a court of law someday, strange bloke that he is.
