Spence is actually very well known in certain circles and communities already. Nothing he does will ever get him crossover appeal though, not even after he beats Manny.

He has to capitalize on the win to become a star. A win over Pac would be huge. But one win won't always do it. Shane didn't become a star after defeating ODLH the first time.

Most of the superstars go on a run of high profile fights before they beat a legend. We haven't seen that from Spence yet, he really needs to clear out the welterweight division regardless of the money thing, and that means Crawford and Thurman need to be taken out too. Once the great fighters reach that pinnacle I understand the money talk discussion, but you've got to do whatever it takes to build that legacy and make the public believe and understand you are the best and your fights are an event.

If he beats Manny it’s a good win against an older legend and ATG… while it’s not a huge thing it’s still a very significant win…. Now if Manny turns back the clock and beats Errol, to me that’s a going out with a last hurrah fight. I would hope he would call it a day after that because he beat the consensus top welter.

His last PPV (vs Danny) supossedly did 180K. And Danny is very well known. He might consistently hit 300K PPV against the guys at 154. Maybe. With the right promotion.

Without the fights or the rivalry to boost sales, I’m not so sure. His media followers and views barely if at all trump Crawfords.

PAC has been out of boxing for TWO years so this will not make Spence a household name.
Now him and Crawford that’s the fight where both become known in every household

    You stoned, bruh?

Spence isn't very well known outside of boxing. Crawford is a complete unknown outside of boxing.

After Pac, Crawford needs to take the 40%.
