Does he ? Oscar just said he would like to match spence up with canelo . Does spence stand a chance ?Also why do they call spence a weight bully I see him as a regular welterweight he probably only rehydrates ten pounds to 157 after the weigh in . I don't see how he's a weight bully usually weight bullies rehydrate more than ten pounds
yes. i know spence is just as good a boxer, when he wants to be. hes just happy to trade if he thinks hes hurting you more than you hurting him. of course he would have to have the perfect fight plan and be in the best shape of his life, else he gets timed and put down where he cant get back up.
He has a chance but a slim one. Spence's strengths play into Canelo's hands, plus Canelo is the bigger, harder hitting and more versatile fighter. I think it'd be a competitive beat down with Spence getting stopped late on.
Spence beats him with ease at 154. Canelo has been on the roids for years , watch the difference now vs GGG . He will look as slow as molasses...
Speed is everything. And if speed can be used effectively, then it is hard to beat that person.. Someone like Khan had speed but never a gameplan to use it. Then Floyd used a great gameplan always. And Spence has the speed. And he uses it ok, but never at the high level yet. But I think he could beat Canelo, but he would have to be careful.
I think it depends what weight they fight at Spence comes forward and canelo likes to counter I think this fight would have some great exchanges
Yes, more than Mikey vs him anyway. Spence is a natural 154 and has enough size and a good style to make a Canelo fight competitive. Canelo isn't the biggest puncher so Spence should be able to take the power for a while at least, although I think Canelo is too big and tough in the end. Mikey, on the other hand, may be a massive 135 but a big hitting 147/154 like Spence is just too far.
Nope. He has no business fighting any middleweights. I'd Favor Jacob's, GGG, Canelo, Andrade, Saunders, and Charlo to defeat Spence who is a welterweight.
Today? No, the weight gap is too big. In a few years if Spence has moved up and is comfortable at 154, and if Canelo is finding it difficult to make 160? Maybe.
This. Clenelo has been using drugs as far back as the Trout fight. For the Floyd fight, Clenelo was drained and Floyd made sure that he didn't cheat (only Floyd is allowed to use PEDs), so he had no power on his shots.
