Like SambaKing said, had Fury given anything to charity he'd be shouting from the rooftops about it.

In the past he's not been shy of posting pictures of himself giving stuff away to charity on twitter.

Yet his biggest donation, we're meant to believe the biggest attention seeker in boxing, wishes for it to remain private!

I got to hand to Fury, he really has his own cult of followers.

So you concede he's done charity work in the past, but "have to laugh at somebody who thinks he gave a cent away" - how does that work?

    From his purse!

    You missed that crucial line.

I have no doubt Fury has given to charity, the point is that he did not give any of it from his purse which he got from the Wilder fight.

I understand in your mind, it's unfathomable that Fury would tell a lie, but I must remind you he has form for making up things

    A long list in fact..

Why none from that purse? Money is money. You're admitting he does charity work, but claim he didn't give any money away from a specific purse. You're totally contradicting yourself.

I know Fury is a huge liar. Just like Eddie Hearn, David Haye, Bob Arum, Don King and every other good boxing promoter. Telling lies is the name of the game.

However, the man is a well known charity donater so I've no doubt he could spare a chunk of his seven millon pound purse for charity. He made millions more immediately after the fight from a sell out tour. The man is loaded. Why wouldn't he give away a slice of the Wilder purse?

It seems there is very little that can come from this thread that will persuade or dissuade either side.

Because if he did he would have said so, since he made a big song and dance about doing it, yet when pressed for confirmation began becoming agitated and defensive.

Someone who has done something which they said they intended on doing, do not suddenly become frustrated and angry when questioned.

If you said to your group of friends or went on television and announced that you intended on helping the elderly and you did in fact help the elderly, then when the same group enquired on whether or not you went about that venture, will you react hostilely and tell them it's none of their business?

Where did he get defensive and angry? Plenty of articles online of him happily confirming he donated the purse. Surely any half decent journo could rubbish it if he lied?

Max has to tip toe around Fury and backs off pressing for more answers as to what he has done with his purse money as Fury begins getting aggressive. Keep in mind it was Tyson Fury who was telling us that he was going to donate. Now suddenly it's a private matter

You say he's confirmed the donation, where is the confirmation. Name me the charity or show me the video where he's handing them the cheque

I’m shocked there was not a bigger outcry about this. The bloke said he was giving it to charity to gain cheap publicity and then never went through with it.

I would have given him more credit if he turned around and said my family needs to be taken care of first but I have made a big donation of x amount.

so morally wrong and I still have doubts over everything that comes out of his mouth including the reasons behind pulling out of the Woad rematch and issues surrounding the failed drug test

That's your video evidence? Jesus Christ! :D There's absolutely zero aggression there. Talk about desperation!!

Where's the evidence to suggest he hasn't? Any good journo could easily rubbish Fury's charity work or lack of.

Charitable anonymity is a right. Lying about donating is not. The press in the UK are absolutely ruthless and they could 100% find out if he was lying about it.

You're wishfully hoping he hasn't. I'm saying there's no physical evidence to suggest either way. I also think it would be odd of a man who's known to do charity work to suddenly stop doing it after earning millions and millions of pounds.

You’re wrong to say nobody knows. Fury would know and the charity would know. Yet the charity have said nothing and Fury’s gone all shy. Seems very odd again doesn’t it? Tyson talks for ages about his forthcoming donation then screams privacy needed when asked where the cash is?

    Honestly - you fanboys!

Oh look, Hayers is back. Shown up as a complete clown for the 100th time earlier and back for more as the subject has changed.

Anonymity is anonymity and anyone has a right to it. Also, there could be several charities, or he could've something independently. As I said, we just don't know.
