Which is quite ironic since Bhop still has the potential to fight at the top at such a late age

I remember it clearly......he is right in one sense Floyd does ALOT of stupid things but at the same time I have seen Bhops condo in Miami I think it was on a documentary so like every other human being he contradicts himself.

Alot of the dumb stuff Floyd does is calculated and keeps people interested although I personally wouldn't like to be like Floyd I can understand why he does what he does.

Anyone who remembers Floyd from the early days knows he was actually quite a humble guy and never as controversial as he is nowadays but he did have problems crossing over and the "Money" persona certainly helped him cross over.

What Bhop says is ultimately correct.....but at the end of the day we all make mistakes and we are all human if you looked at each of our lives with a microscope then we would all look foolish!

I don't know how anyone can respect Rick Ross though that guy is an absolute fraud......claiming he was a big time drug dealer when he REALLY was a C.O LOL!

Keeping your wealth is the true test. At the end of the day I feel bad for Floyd when the only way it seems he can make friends is by showin off his wealth. I mean, he webcams US troops, and parades his laptop around his mansion so they could see his cars and huge rooms and ****? I wouldn't be surprised if the guy grew up without any close friends as a kid given the dedication he had to the sport and never quite learned how to build new friendships otherwise.

I think Hopkins is very right about the saving money part, and the fact that you never want to draw attention to your welfare and make people think your rich etc etc. Also people become less jealous which is a good thing.

I don't know why he took disrespect to Floyd inviting him over to his house. Maybe that's Floyd's way of starting a new friendship. That was dumb in my view.

Nobody here in this forum has any idea What floyd really does with all his money. But I disagree them Hopkins talks about his flashy lifestyle. There's a reason Why this guy is the highest paid athlete in the world. Come on if hhe wasnt a good business man he wouldnt be making 8 figure pay days and get a contract for like 300 mill... his money persona works... no matter What anybody says or if anybody likes it.

Floyd could have done stupid ****. But nobody is perfect. Plus this guy is living a good life... beautiful fiance, beautiful kids, celebrity friends, nice house and material items, has his own charity, own promotion company, highest paid athlete, ATG ranking, best percentage in boxing, arguably the best defensive boxer ever, plenty of money and plenty of people that have his back. And the list goes on.

    Seriously he's doing something right...

B-Hop is really switched on. A bit paranoid, but really careful with how he conducts himself.

I remember there was an interview by Nazim Richardson where he mentioned Hopkins once, in the build-up to a fight, was training at his gym and there was a female reporter there. Something happened and the electricity went, covering the whole place in darkness. Apparently the first thing Hopkins did, was grab his **** and run out of the place . Nazim said he didn't wanna' risk remaining in a darkened room where there's a white female surrounded by a dozen men, in case someone touched her inappropriately and the finger could be pointed to the only famous athlete present.

    Crazy guy.

BHOP said some real ****, but some was off base I think.. Floyd's persona and flashing money brings in casuals I'm sure, so that may be helping him in the end..
