Bernard spitting the truth right there.

But floyd created a persona and he has to run with it. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Bhop kept it 110% in this interview. His experience comes with age and young cats really need to take heed to his words.

    Speaks alot of sense.

Mayweather is my favourite boxer, but hes gonna be broke in 10 years.

I doubt he still had his Mosley money by the time he fought Ortiz, and I doubt he still had his Ortiz money by the time he fought Cotto.

Even if his money team clothing takes off, It wont bring anywhere near the cash he needs to sustain his current lifestyle.

And people hate him, which makes him money now, but once his money is gone.. People will be happy and nobody will help him.

Even if he was still cool with 50, do you think he would give a ****?

If he makes 200 mill from his showtime deal, it will be spent within 10 years, and he has a history of not paying tax.

Bills for his cars, electricity, gas, hangers on, water, eating out, gambling, supporting his fam... His bird aint gonna be cheap..

He is ****ed in the future finically. His yes men are there cus they want money spent on them, they not gonna tell him to stop

Hopefully he finds peace when he is broke like Tyson.

B-Hop was spitting old school wisdom and it was solid but you have to possess the personality to roll like that and you have to have been a student of the school he graduated from. Any frivolous and wild behavior is frowned on and looked at as weakness from guys that got the game the way Hopkins did. Now, there are some young guys that get that game but not many because the old players are dying out and that's a dam shame. However, just because Mayweather don't play his hand like B-Hop in public, doesn't mean that he's not just as serious and dedicated to keeping his paper. Mayweather has a very productive mind and he knows how to get that paper inside and outside the ring. Actually, it appears that he has more outside interests than Hopkins. Hopkins is like ( It's not what you do, but how you do what you do ) and Mayweather is like ( By any mother****in means necessary )

Bhop is right. Floyd flashing stacks of money don't mean ****, if in ten years he has his house repossessed cuz he can't pay his bills.

What does it matter to the context of thread ?

    This.

In saying that though, as much as people on this forum like to believe they have real insight into his money, I highly doubt Floyd is that loose with his money, he may spend but I'm doubtful of claims he'll be broke.
