i'd rather see margorito look like an ordinary fighter against someone else. i'd even be interested in seeing a clottey rematch because in my eyes clottey whooped margo and make him look very very ordinary.

Honestly though, I really think Margarito would pose problems for Mayweather and I understand why Mayweather avoided him.

Mayweather's style is practically flawless, but if you can land it, he is susceptible to a right hand, left uppercut/left cutter combination.

I think Margarito is the best in the business at landing this combination from the outside or inside, and that Margarito showed his blocking ability and defense against straight punches when he fought Paul Williams.

He didn't win that fight, but Paul Williams ain't Floyd and ****, Floyd ain't Paul William's either.

Anyway, watch the way Floyd disected Gatti and then watch about every fight you can with Margarito.

You'll see that Floyd who obviously is the best with his style knew exactly how to exploit it when Gatti, for what reason, I don't ****in know, used the same style as Floyd against Floyd.

You got that combination going, and then you got Margarito's size, HUGE in comparison to Floyd, reach, an inch more than Floyd's, and relentless determination combined with the ability to get the distance to land his shots DESPITE what punishment he receives from his opponent.

So yeah, Margarito would be a hell of a tough opponent for Floyd and not exactly a tune up fight.

Fact is, ya'll just gotta admit that Floyd ducked him. It was a smart move, but he still did it.

Margarito is too big of a risk and too little of a reward.

EDIT: It's not Floyd's style that's flawless it's the way Floyd implements it that makes it seem that way.

You don't need a tune up when you are the greatest fighter in the world, you have become a household name (more and more know about Floyd now), only fight twice a year, and the competation at 147 is elite.
