Let us all take a realistic look on what Fraud Mayweather did or didn't do during his "prime." Fraud did the following: Lost to Castillo Lost to Maidana Fought a lot of C-B level competition from about 2003-2007 Ducked PacMan Ducked Margarito Ducked P. Williams Cried on national t.v. Beat up a few women Ducked PacMan....oh wait, I think I already said that Retired Had people walk out on one of his "championship" fights Perfected his grappling and holding skills in the wrong sport; however, I do admit it may help him if he ever decides to fight in the combat sport that does allow grappling and holding. PacMan on the other hand was doing the exact opposite. PacMan was fighting a who's who of boxing: JMM x4 MAB x2 EM x3 Margarito Clottey Cotto Hatton Bradley Mosley ODLH Rios Larios It wasn't until JMM did what Fraud had been praying night and day for that he finally decided to step foot in the same ring with PacMan. Even then he displayed the same skills that he displayed in his movie debut of Rocky II. You know...where Rocky is chasing the chicken and he can't catch it. Anyhow, keep in eye out at your local emergency rooms for Fraud fanatics who may have tried to commit harakiri, since I hurt their wittle feelings by laying out the bare truth on their chumpion fraudster. Oh, and to answer the ridiculous question as to whether or not Fraud Mayweather deserves to go down as an atg? LOL!!
Legends do stuff that is extraordinary. As great as the 4 that you named...they are only ATGs. Being an atg is big because they can fight in any era. But imo they aren’t legends. Jmo
No. legends have their own category in my book. Armstrong holding 3 titles simultaneously, Leonard beating Hagler, Duran beating Leonard, Louis title defenses, Greb besting bigger men, Pep winning 229 fights and only losing 11. Ali beating Liston and Foreman-all stuff of legend. Chavez is a guy Inalways struggle with when making this decision. I might have to think about him and revaluate.
Quiet, nincompoop. I've forgotten more about the sweet science taking my morning dump than you know now!
I am not fan of Floyd and probably tending to be a little bit "hater", but i can't agree with same of your statements: yes first fight was very close and it's possible to say that Castillo was robbed, but to the Floyd's honor, he gave rematch quickly, and won without any questions. This is incorrect, the first fight was difficult for Floyd, Maidana was not only more than Floyd he also often beat illegal blows to the back of the head and again Floyd gave rematch and won without any questions. This is a very complicated story, they have been ducking from each other long time, but from a financial point of view they chose the right moment for fight. And about PacMan, you mentioned about his fight with Mosley but in this case why you didn't mentioned that Floyd also faced with Mosley and besides he did it earlier than PacMan did, and the same story with Hatton.
