Mayweather is fast can't take that away from him, but
toe to toe, Cotto would drop him.
Cotto has the power to knock Floyd to the canvas,
Floyd has the speed to catch Cotto but not the power to drop him.

He did it to Ortiz, so it wouldnt suprise me if he did the same with Cotto. However I don't think he would have the same success and may get caught with some bombs occasionally.

If an Asian midget can do it Floyd better do it . Remind me of the Pacquiao vs Cotto fight. I was at their San Francisco press tour and a fan asked Pacquiao if he would stand and trade with Cotto...I was like yea right. PAC answered to the fan in tagalog which I didn't understand but you could tell they liked it. I don't think PAC would be that stupid considering the size difference. Well what do we know come fight night...PAC stood and trade with Cotto and I was like PAC a G.

I've never been too impressed with Cotto. I remember back when people were really hyping him up, back before his match with Margarito. I had a look at some footage of him and I couldn't understand what the big deal was -- he just seemed to plod around the ring following his opponent. He was decent, but nothing really caught my eye about his style or abilities. This perspective hasn't changed much today...the only thing I would amend is that he does have a good jab, and times it well. Aside from that, Floyd should be able to beat him any way he wants to.

He didn't go toe to toe with Ortiz.. :patsch He used his hand speed to catch Ortiz in the middle of the ring... then his defense to avoid shots from Victor.

yeah but not because he has "balls" but because he doesn't have the legs to do what he used to. He's made up for that by sitting down on his shots and being a bit more aggressive.

If what you say is true is it a case of if Mayweather is dumb enough more than has he got the balls to go toe to toe.

As far as im concerned Mayweathers guna cut Cottos face right up and it will be stopped late rounds.
