roy jones was kinda the same way in the 90's, but at the same time it was known he was a gymrat and would workout even on the holidays. floyd loves money, but who doesn't. he's gonna love boxing again more than anything once he runs out of money

 

If he doesn't return I'd say yes but if he returns then maybe he needed a break after all these years.

Floyd loves boxing but he loves money more he is business before pleasure when it comes to the sport. Pleasure in this case, is our pleasure of viewing him with a livebody in the ring.

 

Good Point,
a man who thinks he is the best ever would be calling out all the toughest guys out there but he is quite happy to go into fights only if he already knows that he has some type of advantage over the opponent.

I dont think he would have an easy time with either Williams or Margarito or even Cotto for that matter.

He would be the favourite but it wouldn't be as easy as the people on here seem to think

Every great fighter needs a career defining fight.
I dont think I can say I've seen that yet.

He is good but he has yet to have a career defining moment at 147

and no disrespect to yourself or Floyd but please do not tell me that beating a part time boxer, a face first brawler with 0 defense at the time and a big for nothing Baldomir along with a front runner Judah is career defining because me and you both know that those fights were all for money and for entertainment value to see what Floyd is capable of doing against fighters who just fell short in one department or another to making it an even fight.

He needs a fight to seal the deal and put the icing on the cake, otherwise he will forever be fighting for big money and getting paid but not really gaining any real respect for winning against opposition that a lot of people would question.

Former 140 fighter who Margo dwarfed in the ring and made him quit.Who never actaully won a belt on his own only fought for a vacant belts. Not to mention he was out on his feet against Corley at 140 and dropped by Torres there as well. Advantage Margo

Golden Johnson
A blown up 135 pound fighter who was brought in to make Margo look good after getting served by his daddy Williams. Advantage Margo all day long.

Cintron 2x
A guy who made a name for himself by koing cans with no real inside boxing game and Margo made him cry in the ring and rematched him
Advantage Margo by a country mile for rematching a guy he made cry and not fighting a real threat.

Clottey
A guy who was getting knee deep in Margo's ass until he hurt his hands. Margo never gives him a rematch despite having the same promoter in Arum. I wonder why? Advantsge Margo because he knows he would lose if he rematched a healthy Clottey.

Santos
In his first and only venture to the weight class he really belongs in he got his ass kicked by Santos. After the loss Margo quickly ran his ass back down to 147 where he could pick on smaller fighters. He knew he had no business at 147 because he's so limited he can't beat guys there his own size where he has no advantages.
Advantage Margo he ran back down before he was exposed further by 154 pound fighters so he could pull the wool over people's eyes so they could think he was some real badass but in reality he's a ****ing ***** but I guess it worked since he has the worst nuthuggers on ESB.

Every fighter has had a career defining fight yet Margo chooses to make a career off of PBF and not to fight people his own size and not avenge losses. Instead he takes rematches with Cotto a guy he made quit and Cintron a guy he made cry some warrior there.hi:
