Does Floyd Mayweather deserve credit if he wins after demanding a catch weight?

    And as much as he got for margarito at 150 for a 154 belt, that margarito didn't even have. It's not like margo took the belt from someone and lost it to manny as a title defense fight, it was a gift to the winner to pad someone's legacy.

    At least Canelo earned his belt

    He is moving up to fight, isnt he? he is moving up to meet canelo!
    the advantage is with Canelo and he might not even come at 152..

    Yes he does. Those that believe he doesn't deserve credit shouldn't watch this event at all, don't waste your precious times if you believe Alvarez will be seriously affected. Remember, no one forced Alvarez, who's 22 and has an 0 he could milk for a LONG time, to accept that demand. If Alvarez and his team made a fuss about it as Cotto did when he was asked to make 142, the media would have easily backed him. No one said anything and they signed, it's their problem.

    Canelo is much bigger than Floyd. Cotto was not much bigger than Manny.
