I don't think Ortiz is tailor made for Floyd, I just don't think he's very good.

Aside from Pacman, at 147 who would had been a much better opponent for Mayweather then Ortiz?

No, southpaw is a stance, Floyd has shown many times that he can handle this, and on the 17th, he's about to kick Victor's AZZ and then emmanuels

First I'm an Ortiz fan and I hope that he is going to win. That said the kid looked terrible against a slick fighter in Paterson that is not half as good as Floyd. Maybe he has learned from this fight and he will do better against Floyd but his balance was horrible and he was getting tagged at will with counters. Peterson is as feather-fisted as they come but Floyd has some pop. I won't bet on Ortiz for that reason and I believe that Floyd has watched that fight closely before choosing Ortiz. It's a perfect fight for him because he is preparing to fight a lefty by fighting a highly regarded
fighter that he is sure that he can beat. As for Floyd problem with southpaws I don't know I've watched only the Judah fight...

fanatics, haters and blind only said that Floyd has problems with southpaws. When you want to be blind you will be blind no matter what. Floyd has beaten easily all the southpaws that he has fight in his life and has been very easy to him. You see that haters start to try to find an excuse to this. First they said he has problems with southpaws, but when the evidence put in jeopardy what they said, they start to find another excuse over other excuse. If Floyd has beat easily all the southpaws that he has fight, where is the evidence of the contrary???? You see no evidence, only a lot of blls... from the haters. Floyd beat Chop Chop easily, he won every single round, with judah he lost 3 rounds of 12 and he was at the beggining of stoping Judah when he land the low blow. 24 rounds and he has lost 4 rounds!!!!! Where is the problem? The problem is in the mind of the Blind. But Pac has lost 3 fights and has struggle mighty with guys who can box, but the blind said that he will destroy the best boxer in history when the evidence said exactly the opposite, but no matter what the evidence said, pacman is Pacman and he did not has problem with nothing and Floyd beat, boxers, sluggers, right and southpaws easily and he will have problems because because the haters want to see that. You see what you want. If you want to be blind, stupid or moron that is what you choose. Evidence is clear and strong in Floyd favor, excuses and stupid theories are only that stupid theories.

It's overblown because pacquiao is a southpaw, that's it.
